Since I've been learning reverse engineering for a while now, I have decided to give my own contribution to this fantastic world. So I have made a little program in C++ for crackers to train with.
I have used Borland C++ Builder v1.0 Evaluation and due to the compiler, there is some kind of nag that forbids the program to run: that will be the first part of the CrackMe.
It took me about 1min to get rid off the limitation, so everybody can make it in about 30 seconds. Then a dialog box will appear with 3 text fields and a button. Enter your name and your key in the first two, press the button, and check the status in the third. Since I am using a comparison between the real key and the key entered, it shouldn't be too hard to get a key. The generating routing is not that hard, so take some time to make a keygen.
To conclude: an easy CrackMe for newbie/medium crackers (and advanced crackers who want to make fun of me :) Doh!
